Shoplifters

First time I’ve ever cried alone in a theater so...I think it’s a masterpiece? Seriously though, this has got to be the most real, humanistic movie of the year. There are so many truly touching moments - some that will likely stay in my mind for a while. I was fully invested in the family, their lives, their chaotic little world. I was lost in the movie. At times, I forgot I was even watching one. Ah, the magic of cinema! @ Landmark Embarcadero
