The Farewell

Awkwafina’s most honest and vulnerable performance. Really exciting to watch. Music and cinematography were lovely. The composition choices always felt right. I loved the way the characters were framed and lit – delicate, vast headroom, and shallow depth of field. Colors felt rich while not being over-saturated. A solid piece of film!
