Unironically one of the most beautiful love stories ever. Watching Lee’s confidence grow little by little is so satisfying. It’s not just about submission, it’s about self-acceptance. Maggie Gyllenhaal is a STAR. I also love that Grey isn’t this all-knowing dominant; he’s awkward, insecure, figuring it out too. They’re both learning each other, learning themselves. It’s weird and tender and beautiful.
