Leviticus
this movie made me want to be a smalltown boy who has a crush on his friend. the guilt wrapped in all those soft touches. the contrast between what you want and what you desire, between the sweetness of your first love and the abomination other claim. seeing his face everywhere and putting your life on the line every time because you deeply wish it was the real him. in a sense this movie is true, shame and fear is a part of us, it feeds on our soul and crush our bodies. it silence us, force us to face it alone. this is no end to it. to fear is to be human, but to be human is to love.
