Stylistically, it’s a yes like always. The Almodóvar ikea set should be due by now. Story wise, a let down. This might be Almodóvars blandest film till date. Bland characters, bland story. Ni rastro de chica Almodóvar en esta peli. Se nota que faltan cosas. Pues nada, a tope con su próxima película. ¡Viva Almodóvar!

Watched this with my class, and at first I was a bit of a hater because it felt a little corny and exaggerated to me. But overall, I had a good time. The emotional scenes did have real heart to them and that’s what matters the most I guess.
