Moonlight

5 stars. One of the best films I've ever seen. I kept thinking about it for days after, it honestly feels like one of those movies that quietly stay with you. The performances are devastatingly real and the story unfolds with such honesty and tenderness that it feels less like watching actors and more like living alongside real people. The story deeply moved me, it felt intimate, painful and beautiful in such a raw way. I found myself crying not once but multiple times because it hit so close to the heart. I could feel the weight of his loneliness, the fragility of his life and the moments of tenderness so vividly.  Moonlight is a film that doesn't just tell a story, it make you live it, feel it, and carry it with you.
