Full Metal Jacket

60s-20s Movie Project [28/62] Now this was a good fucking movie. Say what you want about this but this is now my favourite war movie oat. This is my favourite Stanley Kubrick movie aswell. I can’t express how this made me feel but I was hooked from the opening scene. The first 40 minutes of this movie was some of the best cinema I’ve ever seen. The middle was still great and the ending was also great. Kubrick did a fantastic job at introducing many characters in this and still keeping them interesting and likeable. Normally in war movies I can’t tell who is who but this one I knew exactly who everyone was. [10/10]
