I remember seeing this in theaters with the fellas when this came out and we were split down the middle with half of us thinking it was good and the other half hating it. I think it’s pretty good! The one thing I remember complaining about that definitely still holds up on a rewatch is how the villains inexplicably catch up to Indy and crew and so randomly. There should be at least some clever plot device that shows how they knew to find Indy after they got away every time but (for example) just because they were going east instead of west on the boat they inferred the whole ass country they were headed to next?? Baaallright. And it definitely begins to drag but the final act makes up for it. Except for Indy wanting to stay so bad like damn just go back to the present and bag Marion again. I like it enough to defend it against any naysayers and can see myself rewatching from time to time in the future.

Absolute classic

The CGI is so epic
