Trying to do at least 1 rewatch per month and it felt like this was a good one for a snow day, also considering fantasy has been my hyper fixation for the month of January. “You have no power over me,” as a lesson to young people, specifically girls, is considerably profound and has stood the test of time. Also proves that blonde men are evil in every universe. Out of context, The World Falls Down is one of the most beautiful love songs ever. I watched this for the first time when I was 15 and had a new found love for David Bowie. I’m 23 now and still think Gareth is gross and his pants are too tight but my heart still burns for Bowie and his music. This movie is so fun considering it’s about kidnapping. Bring back movies with a majority puppet cast and then like 2 human actors.
