Halloween

Watching an emotionless figure stalk and kill people will never not be eerie and terrifying. That is why Michael Myers is my favorite horror icon and why Halloween 1978 is my favorite horror film. I could listen to Dr. Loomis talk about Michael Myers all day long; Donald Pleasence gives an amazing performance as the doctor. Jamie Lee Curtis also does a great job as Laurie Strode, an all-time great horror protagonist. I think this film is damn near timeless; it's super fun and eerie. The score is chef's kiss; the Halloween theme is one of my favorites. My only complaint about this film is that it's fall, yet all the leaves are still on the trees.
