Perfect Blue

I was 95% sure I understood Satoshi Kon's Perfect Blue, so naturally I went to Reddit to see what others think. I was right, which surprised me. This is my second Satoshi Kon, the first one was Paprika, and both, though very different concepts, rely on the same thought, *"Is this the real world?"*. I find it funny that after Kon puts you through an absolute mindfuck for over an hour, he closes up with a bittersweet ending and a cute japanese song, you kinda forget what just happened and for 2 minutes of credits it feels like you just finished a Sailor Moon episode, not some sick thriller that would surprise you even lynch himself. Anyways, even though that's not the premise, I'd still encourage every helmet with "hi stalker!" on their bio to watch this, they probably won't understand the whole film, but at least they'll (hopefully) change their bio.
