Thor

Overall, I think Thor is a strong movie. The CGI really impressed me, better than what I seen in the other marvel movies I’ve reviewed. The story builds slowly, but pays off with that twist. At first, I actually thought Loki would make a better king, but as the movie goes on, I get why Odin chose Thor. He had to learn humility and wisdom instead of just charging toward power. The romance with Jane felt cliché and a bit rushed, though. Now, this is my first time watching the Thor movies and diving into the Marvel series, so I’m not totally sure what counts as a hot take, but I genuinely think Loki is written better than Thor in his own movie, and honestly, I’d even say Loki might be the best villain in the MCU so far. His motives and inner conflict feel layered, which makes him fascinating to watch. Also the idris Elba casting was a very good touch played his role well.
