Vertigo
Vertigo didn’t just tell a story, it swallowed me whole.
The plot moves like a fever dream, pulling you deeper even as you know you shouldn’t follow. Jame Stewart gives a performance so raw it feels like an invasion to watch, and Kim Novak lingers like a memory you can’t shake. Visually, it’s hypnotic. The camera floats, spins, and bleeds color until reality feels just out of reach. Every shot aches with longing and loss. I left Vertigo feeling dizzy, undone, and I think that’s exactly how Hitchcock wanted it.
