Supergirl is fine. That’s just it. The film lacks visually. Each planet looks the same and the lack of colour in it really lets it down. The film attempts to make comments about Kara being forced away from her home, why she is called Supergirl while Clark is called Superman and the locked up brides but it lacks any development. However, the acting is pretty great from Alcock, Momoa etc and that seems to be the only bright spark in this film. And that needle drop needs to be never talked about…
