dear god he is talented  i went into this with normal expectations and was actually blown away. the concept is one we are all very familiar with but the way this film played it out felt so fresh and well done to me this was an excellent horror comedy which is one of the hardest genres to place two feet into and though the comedy vastly outweighed the horror theme wise the under-your-skin moments where more and more was revealed about the state she was in wove into a really strong base for a couple big scares which made them all the more effective. like the big one was so fucking good i think i injured people around me when it happened. SUCH A GOOD ENDING! deeply unsatisfying and ironic you had to laugh or you’d shoot yourself, i walked out of this cinema sweaty, out of breath and with the biggest smile on my face curry barker BIG things are happening for you, pls keep delivering legitimately good horror comedies because now we know what you’re capable of

YOURE ACTUALLY KIDDING  oh my god most watchable movie ever i kept getting excited that there was still more to go i don’t even know where to begin with my thoughts it was so beautiful the contrast of the two families and then seeing what the power of the lies did to the parasitic family, rookie mistake to party in their home bruh i mean we all saw it coming so of course serve us with an INFATHOMABLE PLOT TWIST which like didn’t really land very hard for me but just the fact that it was such a twist that the host had an even bigger parasite sold me  this was a stressful movie and i loved every second of it, i found some ending choices confusing and as a liar myself don’t understand why they came so clean lmao but I suppose things all came out in the wash finally. BEAUTIFUL PREMISE BEAUTIFUL EXECUTION god im floored.  what a genuinely unique movie

this is the best film about acting that i have ever seen i am OBSESSED with how it tries to emulate the theatre experience in its continuous shot that takes place over weeks, i can’t put into words how excited that makes me, but besides that, it was an amazing story with strong characters (all played by amazing people hello ed norton you remind me identically of one of my acting tutors in this) that was the right amount funny and like whoa fuck. it also was one of those films where it sounded like they were saying my name all the time so shoutout!  im gonna watch this movie again
