The Penguin

Such excellent character work here. Probably the best we’ve ever seen in comic book television. It had the near impossible task of being worthy enough to exist alongside The Batman film and it went above and beyond expectations, to the point where it actually elevates the film and world going forward.  Aside from the opening and closing 10 minutes, I do think the finale was a little messy and didn’t quite work on the level I wanted it to. That’s what will hold it back from a 4.5 unfortunately. Overall though a brilliant series of television.
