**Overhyped**. Felt way too long. The commitment to no CGI & dumb imax cameras limited the scope of the filmmaking (no magic). Scylla’s design was lame as hell & the nonlinear storytelling gimmick is annoying. Great performances by Hathaway, Holland, and Pattinson. If they were cutting stuff from the original story, like the bag of wind, then they should have cut Charlize Theron’s storyline bc it was boring and didn’t do anything for the plot. Best part was the siege of Troy.

Doesn't deserve the hate it gets. Fun world building. Cool take on a tough character— hard to come up with stakes for someone indestructible. Milly Alcock is great. Weird pedo thing that doesn’t fully get addressed/doesn't seem alarming to anyone. Pacing is slow at parts & I wish I could see more of the action in the fight sequences. I like the small bus driver & popcorn poop bug.

Great premise. Kind of hard to believe they can’t beat him up or escape. Definitely some fucked up Fede Alvarez shit in there.

I mean I don't know what I expected. I like killer robots but these ones were kind of goofy. Inspires me to make my own film though!
