Resurrection

I have never seen a film quite like this. Immediately sucked me in. Very Lynchian vibes and super cool surrealist storytelling, which I am an absolute sucker for. Absolutely impeccable blocking and framing as well as gorgeous color and cinematography, which I am also a sucker for. Bi Gan is clearly a master of his craft, I mean an entire section of this film is one like half an hour long take! A love letter to cinema and the importance of art as a whole, and a new favorite of mine.
