Below Utopia
I was going to watch Paranoid Park after Paper Moon but I was forced to watch this as it reminded my mom of the film You're Next. While that film isn't perfect, it's way better. I'm hardly ever on my phone while watching a film but I was looking at my phone pretty much the entire runtime. I consumed the plot and knew what was going on the whole time but I wish it didn't fucking exist. I would be upset if this is a film I would even remember after I wake up from my nap.Below Utopia, or Body Count, is one of those forgotten 90s thrillers that don't belong in any decade. This movie is so tedious, horribly edited, acted, with a terrible script that was as predictable as my daily routine. The entire thing is a boring clusterfuck of nothingness. There are no personal connections between anybody that is remotely interesting and there isn't anything to write home about this movie. I will forget this movie in the next 24 hours.
