Deserved the razzie

I read the book a while back so somewhat going off of memory here but this felt like a pretty close adaptation in my mind. Some parts were a bit rushed, especially the more tedious things like getting his bearings after waking up from the coma or establishing communication without any common ground, and while I do see the reason for it it did take away some of the impact for me. Similarly I read the spaceship as a much more claustrophobic setting which the film did not give off at all. Nitpicking sure, but I do maintain that they have a big impact on the emotional heft of the story. I did love the visuals they pulled off though, especially the space walk scenes.
