Twinkling Watermelon

I went into this thinking it’ll just be another goofy kdrama but omg it was so heartwarming??? the cast was amazing but especially ryeoun. I wish I could rewatch this for the first time again. the 1/2 off is mainly due to the ending.. as with a lot of kdramas it felt kind of rushed tbh. It was a happy ending in one way but not in another. He did change some things for the better but in the end, his now present is completely different, and his past is not shared with his family. All the hardships he went through aren’t remembered by anyone but himself and while his family is happy and he’s successful he’s still carrying a burden, albeit a different one than before. I still really liked it though. After finishing lovely runner the void wasn’t so big since i was watching this at the same time, but now i fear i’ll be empty until i find something else to not be normal about
