Arrival

It’s always impressive when a film uses such a popular genre to create something so unique and special. I shouldn’t doubt Denis at this point but I wasn’t expecting this film to impact me in the way it did. The climax of Arrival is an incredible use of unrealistic concepts to amplify a very real emotional narrative. Just perfect.
