Starman is out of the norm for carpenter yet he still smashed it. Starmans a beautiful story of grief and love, the best scene was easily her last goodbye to her husband. John carpenter is not only my favourite director but he’s definitely up there for my favourite composer as all the scores he’s done are amazing. Jeff bridges is great same goes for Karen Allen. The military side plot is definitely this films weakest point as it just does what it needs to do which is fine if it didn’t interrupt quite a lot of the story I want to see that being the romance.

Schindler’s list is another one of Spielbergs masterpieces, perfect in every way. The imagery of the girl in the red coat is some of my favourite uses of colour in film. John Williams killed the score and it adds so much to this film. Liam neeson is a brilliant actor and his performance in this is definitely his best, his recent work I feel has made people forget how good he really is. Ralph fiennes is also brilliant and is one of the most despicable people put to screen. One of the film that sits with you adter watching.

Doesn’t get more classic than Jurassic Park. Going through Spielbergs filmography in the lead up to disclosure day has made me appreciate his films alot more and he is definitely one of my favourite directors now, also the most films I’ve seen from any director. John Williams score is nothing but guaranteed goosebumps and a smile, every time it plays I get a feeling that not a lot of scores give me. This whole movie from start to finish is just pure nostalgia and it’s great.
