Before Midnight

Easily one of the best trilogies I’ve seen. The story between Celine and Jesse throughout this film shows that love is a precious gift from God.  A specific moment is when Celine and Jesse are arguing with each other, Jesse talks to Celine at the Greek table outside, and tells her that the world is cruel and she’s trying to live in some fairy tale. This moment is very special to me because not only does it show the reality of life, but also helps keep their relationship connected  True love is when a couple can go through difficulties and bad moments in their lives but choose to be present and active in each others lives. Love is complicated and hard at times, but what makes it work is communication, trust, being fully present with one another. The viewers see what true love is and how it is very special and beautiful. This film carries a truly wonderful message to humanity. This trilogy has a message that will carry on through decades. They teach me what love can be, especially at such a young age, and gives me hope.
