Moon Knight
Don’t know why this gets so much hate. It’s an original project that we DON’T EVER seen in marvel these days. It’s halfway decent once again…something we DON’T EVER see in marvel and is by far one of their better shows they’ve put out.
Good stuff here, people just have to open their minds to a marvel project actually having an original script and they need to be able to watch something we don’t usually see from them. Like does anyone really want to watch Captain America: Brave New World? Not really. It’s the fourth (some could even argue fifth counting the show) installment of a story that’s gone on for TOO LONG. Are they (me) gonna still watch it? Most likely.
Who talks about Eternals and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings? No one. You NEVER hear people talk about those films…why?! Although Shang-Chi is set up to be somewhat in the MCU Moon Knight and Eternals aren’t. Independent movies that may or may not directly correlate to the MCU but are good movies/shows…yeah we know they have flaws every movie has them, and yes marvel has been going downhill for years but I feel like this project in particular as opposed to most of their shows is so overlooked?
Like I get it…they’re racking out new shows. Agatha All Along was a hit! I enjoyed it! Loki was the best show they’ve put out, along with the best ending to a character we’ve had in a long time (maybe even ever?…don’t @ me) Just because it’s an independent show doesn’t mean it’s bad. Maybe I like it because I grew up loving Marvel and I’m still holding on to that sliver of hope that something will be good. Maybe it’s because I do very much enjoy Oscar Isaac’s acting. Maybe it’s even because I am too generous with my ratings on this dang app, but maybe a halfway decent show/movie is a good thing these days?
Open your minds people go rewatch Eternals, go rewatch Moon Knight, and look at it from a different perspective….maybe you’ll find something in it.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk!
