Squid Game

I really just don’t like series as a media format in general. There’s some fun stuff here in squid game but there’s also a lot of dumb and boring things too. But Netflix series aren’t made to make you think. Just consume and don’t question and tell your friends it’s good, regardless of what your actual thoughts were.  Some stuff in this show just straight up doesn’t make sense or is overly complicated for no good reason just to have the feeling of a twist. But I’m just such a sucker for the most dangerous game style story that I still had fun, and the gore was super creative along with the set design of the actual arenas. The marble episode was the best episode. Episode 2 could be cut out of the entire show and just exists to feel as if there is some sort of agency for the players.
