Win or Lose

PIXAR STILL HAS IT!!  im glazing a lil bu but this is probably the be thing they’ve come out with in a decade.  the unique visual style/elements of each episode are so refreshing.  music is very well selected.  that final run in episode 8 had my heart PUMPING. felt like i was actually there with a kid on the team.  AND this might be a weird thing to point out but the serialization is IMPECCABLE. the episodes are in perfect order, and obviously that was intentional but i’m just blown away. coach’s kid, then the umpire, then a dual narrative with the young overachiever and her slightly unstable mother, then the sibling narrative, the star player, AND THEN IT ALL COMES TOGETHER ON THE COACH’S EPISODE. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? the ups and downs were so well planned. it all works perfectly in tandem. so beautiful.
