Wonder Man

I know nobody is going to believe me but this is 1,000% one of the best things Marvel has ever put out on Disney+. This really isn’t like most of the superhero shows they’ve done. Wonder Man is much more character focused. It’s a show about Simon and Trevor. It’s a Hollywood buddy comedy and it fucking rocks. By the end of the show Simon and Trevor were 2 of my favorite characters in the MCU. The binge drop was the way to go with this show, I doubt I would’ve survived a weekly release. It’s basically a fun 4 hour movie. It’s such a great binge. The episodes are short and none of them feel like filler. The I can hype this show all I want but the simple fact is that Marvel has lost the trust of the general audience. You kinda just have to take the leap of faith on your own but trust me. This show fucking rocks. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley’s performances here are worth the price of admission alone! When was the last time you could say that a performance in a marvel project was reason enough to watch the project? (Well the answer is Thunderbolts) I guess another really good thing I can say about Wonder Man is that it actually restored some of my excitement for Doomsday. Please give this a watch!!
