The Dark Knight
I feel like a dickhead reviewing this so high but like objectively it is one of the best movies ever. Everything has already been said about this movie but I see that people’s main gripe with this movie and the Nolan trilogy as a whole is their comic accuracy. I believe that comic accuracy should only matter for certain adaptations and instances, or if it’s deliberately trying to capture comic book magic. This trilogy is just taking the Batman universe and using its characters to tell a new story/narrative. I don’t understand how people can’t differentiate the two, I do understand though how some parts should maybe be comic accurate like perhaps morals and motivations to do a service to whatever character is going to be in the big screen, but as long as the story is good I’m all in.
