Silence

Wow. A movie about faith, and a challenging one. While this isn’t a true story it’s likely close to one. “Taking the gospel to all people” was never said to be easy or safe. This man is so devoted to prayer. In every challenge he immediate response is to talk to God. And that’s really what we need to do today. While it talks about a loss of faith, it’s also an encouragement to remember our own faith. We are blessed to live in a place where we have freedom to choose faith. Often we don’t take advantage of this freedom. The question really is, did he lose his faith? Or did he just stop publicizing it? Or, are the two one in the same?
