The Brutalist

I’m at a loss for words honestly. Watched this and walked home in total silence and sat in a parking lot and smoked a cigarette just thinking about it. My hands were trembling so much I couldn’t get the light and then I burnt off the end.  I can’t even express my words. All I’ll say for now is the opening scene with Lazlo pushing through the bottom of the ship to catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty immediately stuck with me.
