comic book movie is really back

genuinely at loss of words that was beautiful, tragic, and terrifying, and epic packed into one shit. first off , the first 30 minutes was hella rough and difficult but then the film locked in really hard afterwards which was amazing thank god. anyways, the cyclops sequence, specifically the use of lighting from the fireplace and the sounds of cyclops was fantastic i lovvvveedddd it, probably one of my favourite sequence in the entire film to be honest. moving on, my favourite sequence ever is without a doubt, the Circe sequence. Samantha Morton performance was fucking crazy and incredible, plus her transforming them into pigs and the message delivery about the tragedies she went through that led to her having to use witchcraft and sorcery as a defense mechanism, it was so haunting that she changed the genre from an epic adventure to a fucking horror movie, fucking fab, the Oscars is HERS. (“back to your disguises” when shes transforming them back from pigs to men was genius)  moving on, hades was quite underwhelming as a lame black dessert, untillll the deads emerged from the sands and the amount of souls Odysseus hadn’t honoured and buried, which eventually increased overtime is hauntingly good. and even though Sinon/Elliot Page did not really have as many parts as the others, he really left an impact on the film with his amazing acting ☝️. sirens were unfortunately also underwhelming which unexpectedly became one of my favourite sequence when Odysseus said that the sirens “shows you what you want the most, and what you want the most is what you had already lost, and you know you will never get it back” fucking loved that line omg.  beside sequences, im just going to list the things i adored in this film. firstly, how nolan left the zendaya/athena debate and theory to everybody’s interpretation which makes the movie even better. i love me some food for thought 💭. then, the zeus’ law, which could also be interpreted as something to believe in (faith/religion-order) being revealed at the end as not really about “pleasing” the gods but about humanity’s relationship with each other. and once it is “broken”, humanity falls apart (war/conflict-chaos). and i dont get the agamemnon fuckass “aura farming”, he looked goofy in that shit im so tired… Anne Hathaway also once again proved that she fucking deserved that Oscar, honestly, delivered all her lines and acting so beautifully and so impactful. Zendaya too, fucking icons. really think the female cast shined so much in this movie i genuinely love them so much, Samantha Moron, that Oscar is coming btw queen dont worry.  finally, i saw some similarities between Oppenheimer and Odysseus by touching the horrible psychological toll from catastrophic and tragedies from their inventions, Oppenheimer with the nuclear bomb and Odysseus with the Trojan Horse. they would honestly be besties…horrible ones but they’d be friends thats for sure ! yay great film incredible film really epic really good yay.
