Queer

7/10 —— This was so ethereal and surreal. Really effective symbolism on loneliness and desire and sex and how these things are experienced so differently from a queer perspective… how they are always present and will physically and spiritually rot you to the core if you let them. But how could you not let them? Would death not be better? It turned into a horror film. Much to think about.. but my main thoughts are: 1) Incredible performances - particularly Daniel Craig like everyone is saying. 2) The score is immaculate. 3) Shot and directed well. 4) The thin plot (particularly the overlong second act) and somewhat etch-a-sketch characters hold this back a little.  Overall very very good.
