Equal parts dumb and smart. Equal parts offensive and progressive. The comedy is executed flawlessly at every level. Satire. Slapstick. Farce. Situational. Etc. There are so many jokes that you could miss half of them and still laugh your ass off. Best satire of actors ever. Maybe the best satire of Hollywood as a whole ever. In an age where almost all good comedy is reserved for the small screen, it feels good to watch tropic thunder and try to remember when comedies were ambitious and filled with spectacle.
