Cinema is the single thing that carried me through every bad moment I’ve had in my life, especially bad movies, because when I feel down and I watch a shitty movie I just think to myself “well, if someone had the audacity to spend millions on this garbage, their afternoon had to be worse than mine”.

This is exactly how I remember my first time with a girl

Protagonist so autistic that she scared me more than anything else in the movie. The first half started strong, I was really into it, loved the vibe, Osgood Perkins always knows how to choose the right palette for his movies. The second half it’s not just worst, it completely ruined everything for me, I didn’t like a single thing about it. The big “revelations” was the weakest I’ve ever seen.

What a movie, every time I see it I know I’m in for a good laugh, but it also always stays with me for a few days. The social critic the movie caries inside is still current.

I think anyone gets what the movie is trying to do, but needless to say, it's super forced and ridiculous at times. They just effeminized the men, which makes no sense because to make it work they should have simply swapped the roles—which, of course, wouldn’t work anyway because patriarchy doesn't exist out of nowhere or just by chance. There are reasons behind it that we today, with empathy and awareness, understand are wrong, but nothing happens by chance. Instead, all the men are gay, and I don't get why.
