Sinners

whilst i strongly believe the right score is 4.5 stars, sometimes you have to hold you hands up and admit when you see masterful cinema. the change in aspect ratio, there wasn’t a single good performance (they were all perfect), THE SCORE! i think the post- credit scene pushed it up but it’s how a film leaves you feeling and thinking  the last time i seen my brother, the last time i seen the sun  * * * * edit: i am definetly drunk at a hockey social, but ive changed my mind, this is one of the greatest films ive ever seen and the final song last time (i seen the sun) might be the great film song ive ever heard and i cant stop thinking about it. miles canton you deserve the world and i love every single actor in this cast. fuck you sinners for not exiting my brain but omg thank you for opening my eyes to wait impactful cinema can look like and fuck you golden globes for not honouring ludwig for one of the best scores i’ve ever heard
