Punch-Drunk Love

"I have a love in my life. It makes me stronger than anything you can imagine. I would say 'that's that', Mattress Man" Definitely one of Adam Sandler's best performances!!! Normally, in many of Adam Sandler's films, we're approached with a comedic, goofball and childlike character. However, in this film, Adam Sandler plays an anxious, deeply emotional, antisocial, depressed character whom, after being lonely nearly his whole life, he finally finds love and also essentially goes out to protect his love and I feel that it's nice to see this side of Adam Sandler's career because of how different the approach is to many of his other performances!! Additionally, the cinematography was excellent, the performances were phenomenal, the score was very impactful, and I'm also happy that I've watched that!! What an awesome start to getting more into Paul Thomas Anderson's work!!!
