Before Sunset
"I remember that night better than I do entire years."
Honestly this would've got five stars just for the opening seven minutes. That shot of Celine in the bookshop made me have the most violent explosion of tears I think I've ever had. On top of that you've got a phenomenonal film that you can easily get swept up in. The quote on here that says "What if you had a second chance with the one that got away" really does the film a disservice; It tackles the original film in a unique way as to how it affected and influenced both characters. The two monologues given in the car are probably the film's finest but everything from the start to the heartwarming conclusion is gold. Additionally it's beautifully bathed in natural light that really makes you feel that you're in an evening in Paris. Altogether it's two perfect performances and a perfect script. I haven't felt this in love since I was sixteen.
"Baby, you're gonna miss that plane."
