Marvel Zombies

🧟‍♀️ I was REALLY looking forward to this. Cuz two things i love are zombies and Wanda. And we got a zombie series with Wanda as the main villain? HELL YAS. 🧟‍♀️ Did Marvel finally understand what the people want? Cuz them marketing this whole show as Wanda’s comeback was THE right move. Maybe a bit misleading cuz Wanda wasn’t even in the first half of the show, but at least they now know we want Wanda back. So… maybe bring her back in the main timeline as well? With a solo movie? 🧟‍♀️ I know a lot of Wanda fans don’t like Zombie Wanda AND I DON’T GET WHY. She’s so cool, come on. I love every MCU Wanda variant. Except for Infinity Wanda. That one was weird and i didn’t even watch the whole thing. 🧟‍♀️ And not just Wanda, the show was full of fan favs characters we haven’t seen in AGES. Shang Chi being one of the main characters? We got Blade AND Moon Knight. AS ONE?! And ok, Steven will forver be my Moon Knight, but they took two beloved heros and mixed them together and we got such a cool character. And ofc everyone’s fav Yelena is back!! And don’t even get me started in Ikaris?! I was speechless? But actually Eternals is a project i don’t care if marvel forgets about :) 🧟‍♀️ As most people, i didn’t really love What If…? Some episodes were great, others were Darcy having sex with a duck… I didn’t even watch the third season cuz of how weird s2 was. But i DID love the zombie episode and the medieval episode (maybe just cuz Wanda is in both of them idk :)) ). But seriously, i thought the zombies episode was such a cool concept and such a cool story, i was thrilled when i heard they’ll do a spinoff series based on it. And every episode was so good. The characters were all fun and we saw different heros interact that we’ve never seen before. Some parts were a bit weird and rushed (ikik this was supposed to be a movie, but if they turned it into a series they could’ve adapted it to at least 6 ep). But each ep felt like it own plotline while still being part of the main storyline. And ep 3 ending was such a plot twist. SPOILERS AHEAD‼️ 🧟‍♀️ The first episode scared me tho. Cuz i thought Kamala, Kate and Riri would be our main characters for the show. I pretty much like them individually, but i thought they made a boring main trio. Especially to fight against the Queen of the Dead. But thank god Marvel wasn’t scared to kill main characters. Didn’t care too much for Kate and Riri, BUT YELENA?!? Yes, that devastated me and i’m happy Marvel did it. Finally a gory show that kills main heros. 🧟‍♀️ I didn’t really get the ending. Cuz i really thought Wanda wanted to save the world as she saw fit. Cuz i kept asking myself WHY is she evil? Cuz this is Infinity War Wanda, not MoM Wanda. So the only reason she’d ve evil is cuz she is infected. But then again she can resist the virus to a certain extent cuz she’s THAT powerful. And i thought that the virus just made her way of saving the planet more… murder implying. Then for a second i thought that maybe all she really did was create a hex for the survivors, to have them THINK they’re living a happy life. Which is still a good thing. If you can’t cure the dead at least give the survivors the feeling that they’re happy. But then the fake reality broke and we saw RIRI?! All i can take away from that is that everything after the fight in ep1 was just an illusion planted in Kamala’s head by Wanda. But why would she do that? Cuz if Wanda REALLY wants Kamala, why not actually get her instead of trapping her in her own mind. Idk, i don’t get it, but the show overall was pretty good and the takeaway is BRING WANDA BACK! 🧟‍♀️ Also, idk why this isn’t an official Halloween release? Why didn’t they wait one more month? I mean, it could never compare to the other Halloween releases, cuz Werewolf By Night and Agatha All Along are SUPERIOR, but it would’ve been a fun lil zombie halloween special.
