This film really made me sit and think for a long while about morality and arrogance. It shows us how terrifying humans are when they've got power. you should be merciful when there's time to be merciful. that nobody can possibly attain the same high ethical standards as you, so you exonerate them. i cannot think of anything more arrogant than that. Lars von Trier is a genius, throughout the film, he makes us want what we want, but when what we want actually happens, we end up feeling uncomfortable or guilty or conflicted or horrified or lost or whatever, you pick.

ngl i would give this 10/10 if it ends on season 8.

my second favorite tv series after GOT!! I love the sopranos sm, all the character here is interesting. PEAK!
