Beautiful Boy

This movie broke me but it also filled me with hope. At the end nic is at his lowest he left his girlfriend who just od at the hospital and he calls his dad for help which he had also did but nic and Dave knew that it wasn’t going to help something was going to come up that was going to make him do drugs again and when Dave said no nic knew way but he couldn’t quit yet and then nic od’s in the bathroom and when he wakes up in the hospital he knows what he needs to do. I think nic looked back throughout the story and just broke down in his father and could now actually quit. And that’s the best part of beautiful boy the part that made me give it a 5 out of 5 and that’s what filled me with hope the hope that even in the worst situations of addiction you can change.
