Sinners

WOW. Had not seen this movie until it just got rereleased into IMAX and I was not disappointed at all. I have never been so immersed in a movie like I was with this one. Every line, every moment felt just so important and my brain did not think of tuning out or shutting off one time. The first dance scene where the barn ends up burning down made me laugh because I just could not believe how incredible that was. Was easily my favorite and best scene of the entire show. That scene made me fall in love with this movie too. Genuinely at a loss for words after viewing this film. The post credits scene also caught me off guard, but I think it was a fantastic way to wrap up this movie. Can we talk about Michael B. Jordan’s performance in this one? He played damn near 3 characters to perfection for the entire film. Was not one moment that felt weak from him. The acting across the board was absolutely outrageous. The songs were also spiritual experiences to go along with IMAX visuals.
