Napoleon

A film of magnificent scale and great depth. Incredible use of colour filters over black and white film, and the soundtrack is hardly matched by anything else which comes to mind. Makes an Australian proud to be French. The narrative is consistently compelling, and there are many great lines, some historical and others fictional. Very engaging, but best digested in parts. A perfect film.
