Sinners

I liked this one a lot. The first hour and a half of the movie was so so good. The vampire of it all kind of lost me for a little bit but wow did it bring me right back in in the end The music was amazing. The cinematography was awesome. They did a great job of developing characters and giving them background so that when it does comes time to be a horror film -- there's real stakes. Everything in the movie had a purpose and was very intentional A+ to Coogler The sammy preacher boy character is so good. And obviously Hailee is a baddie so ... well done Watched it again in IMAX.. loved it even more the second go around. The full screen shots are breathtaking. The ending is one of my favorites. The shot of them driving off through the cotton fields and Sammy singing that same song back that he sang to stack at the begging really hits
