The Bride!

"I would prefer not to." I thought The Bride! was nothing short of wonderful. I think Maggie Gyllenhaal not only captured the visual beauty of a haunting but modern world beautifully, but i really enjoyed the way she constructed the film. From Mary Shelley expressing her stories through The Bride to the way that female autonomy was represented – The Bride! was captivating!! I also thought that everyone cast did a phenomenal job at acting and i was especially impressed by Penélope's performance.
