Rent

yeah rent may not be a perfect film as many other reviews have pointed it out. but truly is rent even worth it if it's perfect? i think the thing that drew me so much to it as a queer middle school theater kid back in the day was its grunginess and imperfections. now as an adult i can say yeahhh some stuff is odd but that doesn't stop it from being my favorite musical of all time. it truly IS that good to me. mark continues to be a dream role even post-theatre era and take me or leave me stays in every yearly playlist. #5starsforever
