Superman
after watching it twice, I absolutely loved this Superman movie. It truly portrayed the symbol of hope — full of heroic moments, thrilling action, stunning visuals, immersive scoring, great cinematography, and outstanding performances. The story was not only interesting, but also meaningful.
There were scenes that made my heart feel warm, tense, and even giddy. The film also touched on political themes. James Gunn really crafted this film beautifully. It’s a perfect opener for the new universe.
This version of Superman felt more human, not like a god. He was shown struggling, even failing at times — yet he kept trying to do the right thing.
One of my favorite parts was a powerful line when Lex Luthor misunderstood who Superman truly was. Superman replied:
"That is where you've always been wrong about me, Lex. I'm as human as anyone. I love, I get scared, I wake up every morning and despite not knowing what to do, I put one foot in front of the other, and I try to make the best choices I can. I screw up all the time — but that's being human, and that's my greatest strength."
