one of the first adaptation of ballard’s novel [crash.](https://boxd.it/crt1jZ) there is no james spader here but at least there is bill moseley.

the last ten minutes really puts everything all together, this is so good. i love how beneath all the sex, humor, and coming of age chaos, there’s so much political and social commentary quietly running underneath it. the emotional repression between the characters makes everything feel so much more heartbreaking, especially knowing how much they left unsaid. everything just feels so raw and intimate.

another heterosexual film by gregg araki and it’s a romcom. soooo kinky, i would like to be involved in case they need a fourth ngl... i totally enjoyed this. it’s like if the doom generation wasn’t dark. love the three main characters sm, their chemistry, the cinematography, the fashion as usual in any araki film, and the soundtrack. blur was included too so another reason why i love this. so underrated and honestly just a fun, and unserious movie. totally one of my faves now!! > [gregg araki films ranked](https://boxd.it/TbYDA)
