The Train

A great film! A excellent plot that showed that men would be willing to suffer and even die for paintings if it meant the pride of their nation. This film does a great job showing what people will do for patriotism and love of country. Even Burt Lancaster who was against saving the painting once he saw how his fellow Frenchmen were willing to die for it, even he was willing to suffer to save it. Even though France was defeated and occupied by the Nazi, this film shows they never lost their patriotism. I love patriotism so I really loved that aspect of this film. That being said I do feel like the film started out slow. But overall a great film.
