The Shining
Went to my local AMC on a Friday night after a rough week of finals to see this for the 45th-anniversary iMAX release. All I can say is holy shit. The colors, the visuals, the sound, the acting, it’s all amplified by 100x. Of course, that’s me comparing it to my TV at home, but all I can say is I wish the cinemas don’t die. Movies like this are the reason they should exist; you don’t get the same experience anywhere else but there. Shout out to Stanley Kubrick for all the work he put in because man, it’s awesome.
